Letter, 1916, written by John B. Fuller to Mrs. Sallie B. Allen of Montgomery, Ala. designating her a Matron of Honor for the 1st Alabama Brigade, United Confederate Veterans. Fuller makes reference to Mrs. Allen as a member of the Bellinger family, who ran an informal soldiers' home in Montgomery for sick and wounded Confederate soldiers after the Civil War.
